This week's Walrus & Carpenter has a very psychedelic start with a track from new Triptides LP Visitors released on Requiem Pour Un Twister records, followed by a new 45 from Levitation Room which members of the Triptides contributed to. The Healthy Junkies are in the mix again with “I Can't Stand Anyone”, the band featuring Nina Courson from Paris on vocals, Soft Science have a new 45 out called “Sooner” which gets a spin, there'll be a track from Autumn - U.S.'s new LP Chandelier, and Broads will be there with “Climbs” which now has an excellent animated video to accompany it for U Tube lovers, (Soft Science, Autumn & Broads = Shameless Promotion PR) and I'll close out the first part of the show with AURI and the opening track from their beautiful new album “The Space Between” (Nuclear Blast Records). It's off to Italy for the start of the last part of the show with Lay Llamas, “Silver Sun” from the forthcoming LP from Rocket Recordings Thuban. The singer/songwriter corner will be occupied by Paul Littlewood and his song about “Television”, Finnish proggers Burntfield will be there with “Failure” (Progressive Gears Records) and to New Zealand via Sweden for System Corporation before heading to Leeds for Vs. and their “18 Words”. I'll play out with Icarus Peel's Acid Reign and “Half Space”, a track recorded specifically for that Fruits de Mer Birthday Party at Glastonbury on l2th May.
